Hello and welcome to Goring Cricket Club, an old club with new ways! In keeping with this have a look at our very own homepage;
www.goringcricketclub.co.uk
We field 3 adult teams. The 1st and 2nd XI play in the newly formed County League Division 3 (West) which started at the beginning of this season, and the 3rd XI who play in the West Sussex League. We always aim to field 3 strong teams with a good mixture of youth, experience and skill.
Are you interested? We are always looking for new players to bolster the ranks, so come along and find out what we're all about. We can guarantee you will have fun! The social aspect of the club is strong, and you'll always find a good group of people enjoying a couple of pints after the game and talking up shots they never played and wickets they never got!
Nets are 6.30 until 8.30 on Thursday nights. We have 2 lottery funded nets and a bowling machine, and if that wasn't enough a county coach in Alan Smith who has helped to take the club from strength to strength at the beginning of this season.
If you would like to get in touch with us please have a look in the "About Us" section, all the contacts you need are right there, and we'll happily welcome you along or answer any questions.
Thanks for reading and happy browsing! Don't forget to have a look at our match reports and scorecards, see how we've been getting on, and we'll keep you updated on any news on these webpages and our homepage, so keep an eye out!
